I am a 2nd-year student from PEC, Chandigarh. This is one of the best colleges you can get from PMSSS, only students who have around 90 percentile in JEE Mains get a CSE branch here.

Your PMSSS merit should be in top 500 to get a seat in this college, most students prefer to study civil but I will recommend choosing computer science, as placement opportunity is very high for CSE students here.

It takes me around 15-20 mins to reach college from Chandigarh railway station. The rank we got this year is 68 which is only possible due to the infrastructure and placement level in this college.

The hostel fees vary around 70-80k from 1st year to 4th year so you will easily save approximately 20k from your maintenance allowance.

No doubt we have a lot of cultural and technical events covering the whole year but talking about the academics I will say in engineering it's on the student how much hard work he is ready to do, the faculty is not that interactive but yeah the college provides a lot of opportunities to the student for his career.

Our seniors have cracked big MNC's like Google, Microsoft, and TATA, etc because the coding culture is also great in our college as I am from the computer department I am not sure about the other branches.

Since it is very close to my hometown I visit my home after every semester and also in between during the fest.

Don't get confused, See JEE mains marks are not required if you are applying through PMSSS, you will get admission if the college is allotted to you based on your 12th marks and choice filling.
