Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme is one of the prestigious scholarships for Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh students. Lots of students depend on PMSSS scholarship for their higher studies after 12th and wait very patiently for their chance to study under this scholarship.

Last year's online registration for the academic year 2020-2021 was started on 6th July 2020  for the 10+2 passed students. The last date to apply for the PMSSS scholarship was 31 August. You can check here in the tweet by Anand Sir, Director AICTE

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic as exams are delayed, CSBE exams for the academic year 2021-2022 will begin from 4th May 2021. Students don't have their 12th marks yet and the 12th mark sheet is an important document for the PMSSS scholarship. Its effect could also be seen on the application for PMSSS this year.

For 2021-2022 JKAICTE the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme application may begin from the 1st week of September to the last week of September. Though there is no official statement from the AICTE nor from the PMSSS director Mr. Anand Kumar Sharma.

The CBSE result will declare on 31st July, 2021. After CBSE result, registration may start. So, In simple registration may start by the end of this month July.

PMSSS application for the academic year 2021- 2022 will begin in the starting weeks of September 2021, due to 2nd wave of pandemic there was a lot of confusion and delay in the process of scholarship .

AICTE has started the process of making the list of colleges and branches which will be under pmsss this year.

It may happen that some new colleges get added in the list and some old college may not be available during the choice filling this year.

Pmsss will soon release the allowances for the even semester in the coming days.

PMSSS online registration and application will begin from 6th September 2021 to 15th September 2021. Students should be ready with their documents for document verification. The first provisional merit list will be released by AICTE on 22nd September 2021 and the pmsss choice filling will be available from 28th to 30 th September.
