Do we have to pay college at the time of admission ? As they demand for certain amount at the time of admission ?

Well if they are asking for Security Deposit then you can pay, because the Security Deposit is refundable.

But if they are asking you to pay for some other stuff then try to convince them that you have been allotted this college through JKPMSSS and you don't have to pay any amount releated to admission/or any other stuff beside hostel fees .

No, according to the norms laid by pmsss you don't need to pay anything to the college at the time of admissions. Some colleges demand a certain amount and promise you to refund it when they will receive the academic fee but that's all fake they don't refund the money at all.

So, we would like to suggest that don't pay anything to your college at the time of admissions if demanded by the college.
