There is no link of student with academic fees , it directly paid to the college by the AICTE. But, if the hostel fees is more than 1 lakh, then you have to pay that remaining amount or you may stay out, rather than staying at hostel.
In short, academic fees given by the AICTE to college, and hostel fees given to the student amount of 1 lakh per year.
