UPSSSC Lower PCS 2026 – Selection Process
The UPSSSC Lower PCS Vacancy 2026 selection process has three stages:
Stage 1: PET-2025 Based Shortlisting Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on their normalized PET-2025 score. The shortlisting ratio is 15 times the category-wise vacancies. This means if a post has 100 General category vacancies, up to 1500 General category candidates (based on PET merit) will be called for Mains. Candidates with zero or negative PET scores will not be considered.
Stage 2: Main Written Examination (Mains) This is the single and final written exam. It consists of 100 objective-type (MCQ) questions for 100 marks. The exam duration is 2 hours.
