Filling 29 colleges is okay but it depends on your choices like which colleges you have selected. It feels very bad to get no allotment I can understand thus I filled almost 60-70 colleges in my choice filling. Look for the dummy allotment and fill those colleges which students have got after your rank in the merit list.
You can float the seat if you did not like the college but you cannot do anything if no college is alloted. Thus I would say try to fill as many colleges as you can.
