CBSE has announced the cancellation of the class 12th board exam after meeting with our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. More than 12 lakh students were going to appear in the 12 board exams under CBSE this year. Students are in relief after the announcement of CBSE on the cancellation of exams for students.
In the fear, unexpected time, and the risk of third-wave the government of India has decided not to risk children's life by conduction exams of a huge number of students either offline or online mode.
A few days back CBSE was asked to give valid reasons for why they wanted to conduct exams in this pandemic due to which today they have come to the final decision of not to conduct the CBSE exam and pass the students on internal assessment.
Our Education Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank has told us that our student's health will be the top priority by the Narendra Modi government.
JK Board may also cancel the rest of the exams left, after the decision by CBSE as CISCE has already declared the cancellation of exams after this announcement. JK board class 12 exams were conducted in the previous month but 2 subjects were remaining i.e Maths and Chemistry.
Though students are having a mixed reaction to the decision of CBSE for canceling the exam as many students who prepared hard for the exams are not happy with the decision. For these students, CBSE will organize the exams when the situation will be in control after the pandemic.
It will be a challenge for the government to distribute scholarships that were earlier given based on 12th marks to the students. Though CBSE has claimed that they will announce the result very carefully taking care of all the parameters, all this will surely delay the scholarship processes.
The other competitive exams after the 12th like JEE, NEET, NDA are not canceled and they are still going to be conducted by their respective organizations.
