You need to clear the CLAT exam for prusing  B.A llb  under pmsss scheme .

Note :- You have to take admission on your own and pmsss will only provide you academic and maintenance fees . IF you passed the examination of Clat . Rest the process of registration is same.

Is clat necessary_? What if I take admission in college or university which provide admission on merit bases OR in college who have their own entrance test__?

If the college is not under pmsss then you will not get the scholarship.
And pmsss supports National Level Entrance examination like CLAT JEE NEET who want to take admission in other colleges
